We are looking for a Night Receptionist for Scandic Värnamo this summer!

What does the role of Night Receptionist entail?

As a member of the Front of House team, you are responsible for providing our guests with world-class service. You are the spider in the web, ensuring that the guest is always the focus. You go through the arrival list and pay attention to the details, making sure that the guests' wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution up your sleeve. You solve most issues and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby and breakfast area, where you meet most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative tasks, security work, cleaning public areas, and sales activities.

Working in Front of House means checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus. When you work nights at the reception, you also clean public areas and set up and prepare our breakfast.

Who are you?

To fit into this role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and can handle many different things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey a good hospitality experience to the hotel's guests.

You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a work tool.

Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite.

However, the most important aspect is your personal qualities and attitude. To fit into this role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

Information about the position

This is a temporary position for the summer. After that, there are good opportunities to continue working extra as needed. You should be over 20 years old.
